Sigara Boregi

From Saad Fayed, About.com

Edward Karaa
My grandmother who is part Turkish, used to make these little cigar shaped pastries that were filled with the most amazing cheese mixture. The combination of the creamy cheese and hot phyllo gave us kids something to look forward to all day. If we were lucky, she would let us roll them. This is where I learned to make the absolute best sigara boregi - cigar chaped pastries that are famous in Turkey.

Serve them with coffee, as an appetizer, or as a side dish, it is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
