Learning Arabic in the Classroom

Arabic is now taught is many secondary colleges and universities for credit and non-credit. You may want to look at course bulletins for non-credit classes teaching Arabic. I have found here you will learn the most useful Arabic words and phrases. If you enjoy a beginner class, then you could proceed to a higher level class.
