Fried eggs are just as popular on the Middle Eastern breakfast menu as they are in the United States. Learn this easy garlic fried egg recipe to make a delicious, international version of fried eggs.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 teaspoon parsley finely chopped
- butter or cooking spray to coat frying pan
Preparation:
Heat butter in frying pan or use cooking spray. Add garlic and lemon juice and allow to saute for about 2 minutes on medium heat. Crack open eggs over frying pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In about 2 minutes, when yolk begin to get a little firm, flip eggs carefully. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Allow to cook for about 1 minute 30 seconds - 2 minutes (longer if you like a firmer yolk).
Remove from frying pan and serve immediately.
