Garlic Fried Eggs Recipe

Fried eggs are just as popular on the Middle Eastern breakfast menu as they are in the United States. Learn this easy garlic fried egg recipe to make a delicious, international version of fried eggs.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon parsley finely chopped
  • butter or cooking spray to coat frying pan

Preparation:

Heat butter in frying pan or use cooking spray. Add garlic and lemon juice and allow to saute for about 2 minutes on medium heat. Crack open eggs over frying pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In about 2 minutes, when yolk begin to get a little firm, flip eggs carefully. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Allow to cook for about 1 minute 30 seconds - 2 minutes (longer if you like a firmer yolk).

Remove from frying pan and serve immediately.

Simple yet fantastic. I used extra virgin olive oil instead but other than that I followed Mr. Fayed's recipe to the letter and I'm hooked. Thank You!!!
