Lamb Meatballs

Lamb meatballs are a delicious alternative to beef meatballs. Great alone or in sauces, lamb meatballs are bursting with flavor and perfect for any meal!

A small amount of ground beef is added in this recipe for binding. It may be substituted with ground turkey, if needed.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1lb ground lamb
  • 1/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients well.

Form into 1-1 1/2 inch balls and place in baking dish, 2 inches apart.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Serve lamb meatballs immediately.
