Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained (save the liquid)
- 1/3 cup of hazlenut spread, plus 1 tablespoon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped
Preparation:
Add hazlenut spread, chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley to blender or food processor and blend to a smooth hummus consistency.If it is too thick, you can add 1 teaspoon of chickpea liquid or water at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
Serve warm with pita bread, crackers, or vegetables.
