Bechamel

Definition: Bechamel is a white or cream sauce commonly used as a base for other sauces, such as cheese sauces. It is made simply from milk, flour, and butter and used in a variety of cuisines. In Middle Eastern cooking, Bechamel is commonly paired with pasta for a macaroni bechamel dish.
