Pomegranate Molasses

Pomegranate molasses is a staple in Middle Eastern cooking. It can be used in marinades, rubs, or glazes. Pomegranate molasses is also used in desserts.

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation:

In a saucepan, heat pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice to a medium heat. Allow to cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a thick molasses consistency.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
