- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup dates, chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup walnut, chopped
- 5 tablespoons baking powder
Lightly grease a muffin pan or line with muffin cups.
In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, dates, walnut, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Pour into bowl of flour mixture, add melted butter, and stir well.
Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full. Place in oven and cook 16-20 minutes or until tops or lightly golden brown.
When done, remove from oven. Let cool for a few minutes if usinga greased muffin pan. If using paper muffin cups, allow to cool completely.
