Harissa is a condiment found in North African cooking. It is very spicy! Make your own with this harissa recipe, or purchase at gourmet or Middle Eastern store.
- 3 lb. flank steak, trimmed of fat
- 1/2 cup harissa
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a small bowl, mix harissa and water.
- With a basting brush, brush harissa on both sides of flank steak.
Place flank steak on baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until cooked as desired.
