Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 -2 lb liver (membrane removed)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation:
Saute onion in olive oil over medium heat. A onions begin to brown, add sugar and continue to saute until onions become soft.Cut liver into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick) and add to onions.
Cook on medium high heat for about 1 1/2-2 minutes each side, until done.
Serve immediately as an appetizer or with rice or french fries as a main course.
