I must admit, I haven't always been a fan of the avocado. Yes, I know they're healthy and packed full of nutrients, but I have a little bit of an aversion to the texture of an avocado. I cook with them often -- they are great for sandwiches, but for my own palette, I tend to stay away from them.
Avocado hummus is a whole other ballgame. It's one of my favorite types of hummus. Typically, I make it in the warmer months, but it is great anytime of year.
