One of my favorite things about meatballs is how versatile they are. Sure, the first thing most people think of when they hear the word meatballs is spaghetti, but there is so much more you can do with them! They can be eaten alone, made into sandwiches, or placed into sauces. Plus, they can be made into any size you'd like them, using herbs and spices of your choice.
While beef meatballs are probably the most common, lamb meatballs are a delicious alternative. Great alone or in sauces, lamb meatballs are bursting with flavor and perfect for any meal! I have a delicious recipe for lamb meatballs that I love to eat either plain or covered with a tomato sauce. In this recipe, a small amount of ground beef is added in for binding. It may be substituted with ground turkey, if needed.
