If you have ever made homemade falafel at home, then you know how much time and preparation it takes to make it. I am not talking about making falafel from a mix or even from canned chickpeas, but the traditional method using dried chickpeas. It requires a lot of patience -- the soaking and peeling are enough to drive falafel enthusiasts with short attention spans crazy.
A reader recently wrote and asked if she could freeze falafel. It's an excellent question! How great would it be to make a large batch of it and freeze it for later? But, can you freeze falafel? Read my response here.
