For those observing Ramadan, today marks the beginning of Eid al fitr, the breaking of the fast of Ramadan! The next three days are spent in celebration with family and friends. Families donate food to the needy during the Eid, and it is also common for children to receive gifts.

Eid Mubarak is Arabic for "Blessed Eid" and is a common greeting used during the Eid.

I enjoy your blogs about your food and the traditions of your faith. Is it possible to try and add how to pronounce the Arabic words you use.
