Middle Eastern Christmas Menu Ideas

Friday December 5, 2008
Despite popular belief, Christmas is observed in some Middle Eastern countries. It is estimated that there are over 10 million Christians living in the Middle East with most living in Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria. Smaller Arab Christian populations can be found in Iraq, Turkey, and other countries.

You also have to consider the large Middle Eastern population that is Christian. Many of these families have adopted traditional western holiday customs, while still keeping Middle Eastern traditions. This is why a Middle Eastern Christmas dinner can be so interesting, and well, delicious!
