Musakhan

By October 30, 2006

Follow me on:

Musakhan in the Middle East's version of the Greek "moussaka". It is a casserole that is simply delcious. It is made with chicken, bread, spices and veggies. Musaskan comes from Palestine and there are many recipe variations. This recipe is a boneless version and is too easy to make!

Musakhan is also one of those fun Middle Eastern dishes to say. It's pronounced moo-sa-con. My children have a good time just saying the name funny ways when I prepare it for dinner. Okay, so I play their musakhan game, too!
